BDK Asia Ltd. is affiliated to BDK Japan. We are a public company limited by guarantee in Singapore and is a non-profit organisation. We were established in 1984 and dedicated to promote and support the distribution of “The Teaching of Buddha” and BDK’s activities in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Brunei, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos, Australia and New Zealand.
We import “The Teaching of Buddha” from Japan for free distribution to anyone who is interested to know more about Buddha’s wise teachings. It is a compilation of Shakyamuni Buddha’s teachings containing the significant essence of the more than 5,000 sutras from both Pali and Sanskrit sources. BDK and “The Teaching of Buddha” is non-sectarian and is applicable to all Buddhist schools and sects.
